Nikita offered up an important lesson this week: absolutely everyone has a price.

It may not always be cold, hard money, but manipulation is possible across the board, as Nikita actually ended up inside the Oval Office on Nikita Season 4 Episode 4.

She was there to save Michael, of course, and she drove a hard bargain when it came to her demands: Amanda had to turn herself in.

You can imagine her reaction to that request, can't you? But you can't wrap your head around all that went down on this installment. Watch it from beginning to end now:

Nikita Review: No More Secrets

Is a happy ending possible for Team Nikita? Not entirely, at least.

The opening sequence of Nikita Season 4 Episode 5 was eerie. It was like Nikita woke up in Pleasantville with lingerie on.

It really was a dream and not the good kind that Michael suggested. It was a fleeting bubble of normalcy for Nikita and Michael, it's just too bad it couldn't last longer.

Ryan's Secret

As odd as it was for them to be staying in houses on a cult de sac, it was even weirder to see them living in separate houses. Nikita and her team have lived together for years. They are a family. When Nikita rang Ryan's doorbell, it seemed wrong and made me laugh. Though, that's normal and what moving on should include.

After years of hiding in the shadows and protecting their secrets, Team Nikita let it all out. They talked about their recruitment, Division, the Shop, the scientific advancements, mind control, they let out everything! It had to be a relief to finally tell their stories, plus to know that would give them immunity and their freedom.

They thought it was over and that they would start a new life. Nikita went from number one enemy of the state to the nation's hero. She was a criminal, a secret operative, and now the most popular person in the country. A major shift. Michael was right when he told her that she needed to start seeing herself as he did.

The dynamic between Michael and Nikita was incredible. After all they've been through they found each other again. "No more missions. No more looking over our shoulders. And all I want is you." Aww! Swoon! In that moment, they has a sweet and loving future together. Is it still possible? Maybe, but not quite yet.

As they reconnected, a new couple was blooming. Sam proved his loyalty to Alex. He didn't try to steal the diamonds and instead followed through on what she wanted. And they hooked up! I was glad to see that Alex wasn't about to jump into something with him. She's right, he needs to figure out who he is. They have to get through the coming trouble first.

I'm glad that it was Ryan that didn't give up the investigation. He's always been the thinker of the team and able to piece together disparate information and find their correlations. The takedown of MDK was too easy. Ryan saw through the actions and correctly realized that Jones set it up to comply with Nikita's demands and effectively get her out of the picture.

I'm not sure the plan would have held its cover even if Ryan hadn't figured it out. Amanda's reckless and it's unlikely she would have remained in the background for long. Her quest for power and determination to control the doubles would have eventually put her fingerprints out there.

If Nikita season 4 was longer, I'm sure that would have played out. Instead, the story's on a fast track and Ryan figured it out. When he confronted Jones, I never saw his capture coming. They met in a secure facility! Jones' reach must be nearly limitless. Ryan was right about everything, but he too underestimated his enemy.

Ryan's a fighter. He wasn't going to let Amanda and the mysterious Group of 8 get away. His resilience was impressive and honorable. He was shot with men holding him and he still didn't give up. He fought! He was willing to die to make sure Nikita knew that something was wrong.

"No more secrets!" and Ryan leaped out the window. When he landed on the car I thought he was goner, but he even fought through that in order to tell Nikita the truth. My heart broke for Ryan, but I was utterly crushed when Nikita showed up at the hospital and said, "He's my family."

He held out just long enough to make sure she knew that Amanda was alive. Even as he died, he apologized for being right. Ryan was hero. And with that missions weren't over for Nikita. She couldn't give it up. Nikita may have lied to protect the public, but she wasn't going to leave it alone.

"They don't get to win. Not like this.

It's only fitting for Nikita and Alex to end this together. I've missed the two of them as partners. I hope Michael understands why Nikita had to do it this way. She didn't take off in the same way as before, instead this time it was to finish it so they could have a normal life.

So with only one episode of Nikita ever ... "It's time to finish what we started."

Odds and Ends

  • Michael has a last name! He has a LAST NAME! It's nice to know you Michael BISHOP!
  • As odd as the cul de sac was to see, the military trucks interrupting that peaceful scene was even more jarring.
  • Alex's takedown of the men at the club was kick-ass. She may be a rich, socialite, but she's still got it!
  • Amanda's manipulated at least some of the doubles to be under her control. Will she use them in the final battle against Nikita? Cheryl Dixon was shown for a reason.
  • Who are the other members of the group? Do we know any of them already?
  • Of course Amanda had to reveal her secret to Ryan. She needed the validation as always. Hasn't she learned by now?
  • Ryan's escape scene was brilliantly acted by Noah Bean. He sold it. I was devastating to watch, yet such the perfect ending for the character.
  • Birkhoff: Amanda? She's alive? That evil freaking bitch! How is that possible?

Are you devastated that Ryan died? Will the rest of Team Nikita get a happy ending? How do you want to see the series end?

We are one week away from the Nikita series finale.

That fact is sad but true but also exciting, based on events that went down on Nikita Season 4 Episode 5.

From the eerie opening sequence to the pulsating conclusion, this penultimate installment truly brought it all.

The team let everything out, talking about their recruitment… Division… the Shop.. and many other issues that had been kept secret in the past.

The dynamic between Michael and Nikita was also terrific, with the two finding each other after all these years and missions. Who didn't swoon when Nikita said "all" she wants now is Michael? Better late than never, right?

So, what note did this episode leave off on? How did it leaving us hanging until the finale?

We can be heroes? Sure, possibly.

But these folks can be villains.

In our latest staff Round Table discussion - join in our debates of Best New Show and Best Comedy of 2013 now! - various writers gather below to answer the simple, scary question:

WHO WAS THE BEST VILLAIN ON TELEVISION IN 2013?

TV Fanatic Staff Round Table Logo

Kate Brooks: Hands down, Moriarty on Elementary. It was a huge plot twist that Moriarty was not only a woman but Sherlock's love, Irene Adler, as played by the magnificent Natalie Dormer. I am still fangirling about it!!!

Miranda Wicker: The Governor from The Walking Dead. He slaughtered his own people! The man was straight evil!

Lisa Palmer: Hannibal. He eats people! And he's a psychopath - there is no one like him on TV!

Carissa Pavlica: Mickey Donovan from Ray Donovan. While not a villain in the traditional sense, because of his self-centered behavior and inability to parent, his children suffered horribly while he looked elsewhere and they are still suffering as adults; even more so now that he's thrust himself into their lives once again.

Sean McKenna: I'm gonna go back to early in the year for this one. King Joffrey from Game of Thrones is despicable, depraved and fantastically villainous. His every action is repugnant - and I can't wait to see him get what he deserves.

Crossbow Practice
Preying On Fear

Christine Orlando: I'm going to go with Red John on The Mentalist. Some fans loved the big reveal of his identity this season while others hated it. Either way, up until that moment the debate was as intense as I've ever seen in any fandom. Viewers kept lists on things as mundane as hand shakes and dissected the meaning behind William Blake's classic poem "The Tyger." After six seasons of watching Patrick Jane hunt the man who murdered his family, I'm glad Red John is finally dead but I certainly enjoyed the chase to the end.

Leigh Raines: I'm gonna represent the teen vote here for a minute, even though I'm almost 30, cough cough, whatever. For me it was Ezra on Pretty Little Liars. Somehow I really didn't see it coming, maybe because Marlene King created such a convoluted crazy ass show. Talk about sleeping with the enemy.

Also gonna throw a vote up here for B613 and Command as a general villain on Scandal. Olivia was being stalked by this omnipresent, powerful, dangerous organization and then it turned out to be dear old dad in the finale. Mind. Blown. Also they put people in holes and tortures them! You don't want to cross B613.

Carla Day: Arrow's Malcolm Merlyn, the Dark Archer, was an incredible villain in 2013. He kicked ass, was manipulative, destroyed the Glades, was responsible for his own son's death ... and he looked hot doing it! Oh, and he survived.

Gabrielle Moss: Queen Catherine from Reign. Arch campiness + poison + constant scheming + more poison + horrible secrets that make you empathize with her even while being appalled by many of her actions + even more poison = my favorite villain to watch in action each week.

Doug Wolfe: I think the slightly-smiling Amanda on Nikita typifies the kind of dangerous passive-aggressive homicidal villain most of us can appreciate. Nikita's attempts at trying to understand her has only proven that there is absolutely nothing redeemable about her - despite her horrible past. As much as she has served as Nikita's foil, at the end of the day the woman has to be taken out. And not in a good way.

YOUR turn, TV Fanatics: Who do you think was the best villain of 2013?

Nikita Series Finale Review: Freedom

Goodbye, Nikita

It was much too soon for Nikita to end, but at least the series had a proper and fitting conclusion. With Ryan's death in the penultimate episode, the series was able to finish with a hopeful and happy ending.

Division and the United States created Nikita the Assassin and that Nikita returned to avenge Ryan's death ... at least that's what appeared to be happening. I totally and completely bought into the narrative that Nikita and Alex partnered up to take out the Group in Nikita Season 4 Episode 6.

Nikita as a Prisoner

I never saw the twist coming, did you? Team Nikita was able to pull off an amazing ruse in order to beat Amanda at her own game. Before Ryan's death, I'm not sure I would have believed that Nikita would turn so dark or that Alex would go along with it.

After all that Amanda had done over the years, I found it plausible that Nikita would turn against those that were responsible for both Ryan's death and the plot to start a devastating war. As believable as it was, I was beyond thrilled to find out that Nikita hadn't lost herself and instead took extreme measures to take out her foes.

As the flashbacks to Nikita's induction at Division unfolded, it seemed oddly placed to tell that story in the series finale. By the end of the hour, it all made sense. Amanda believed that Nikita reverted to her former self and hadn't changed at all. Nikita's troubled start at Division, Amanda's ego led her to believe what she was witnessing.

Amanda's words came back to haunt her, "Deception is more important than brute force."

The faked death at the retreat was outstanding. It fooled everyone and that was the moment that Nikita's plan moved into high gear. While Nikita and Alex played their parts on the inside, the guys worked it from the outside.

The shifting allegiances within Team Nikita was amazing to watch unravel. It moved so quickly that it was difficult to know which side was right and which was wrong. It appeared the series was going to end with a fractured team.

The fight between Nikita and Alex was epic! It was awesome and they sold it. What a ruse! Out of all the twists on television, this was by far one of the best orchestrated this year. It was effective because it wasn't done solely to trick the audience, it was all about capturing Amanda.

Hook. Line. Sinker. Amanda's arrogance brought her down. She never saw her demise coming. When Ryan didn't shoot her in Nikita season 4 episode 5, I was disappointed, though it wasn't in his character to kill an unconscious person ... even Amanda.

Death would have been too good a punishment for her. She will live out the rest of her days locked up and alone, "No one will ever find you. Welcome back to the basement, Helen." That's a much more fitting end for her. Perfect in fact. Her ending was as miserable as Team Nikita's was satisfying.

Amanda was captured, the doubles were taken out of play and the real doppelgangers were freed. Their plan was a success. And that wasn't the best part of it. Nikita's family finally found their freedom. Alex embraced her true identity as Alexandra Udinov. Sam found a fitting job protecting Alex. And Birkhoff revealed himself to the world.

It was nice to see Ryan again, even if only as a vision. Nikita came to terms with his death and it wasn't in vain. Ryan provided the key intelligence the team needed to successfully pull of their plan.

Even Michael and Nikita found their happily ever after. They were married, headed to the beach, and used their honeymoon to help those in need. Perfect!

"The real gift isn't freedom. It's what we get to do with it."

Were you satisfied with the series finale? Did you get fooled by Team Nikita's ruse? Will Nikita and Michael live happily ever after?

The final mission is complete for Nikita.

On Nikita Season 4 Episode 6, this fun CW series came to an end, but not before airing a twist that few viewers likely saw coming.

Did our heroine really avenge Ryan's death by teaming with Alex to take out the Group? That's certainly what it appeared like for awhile.

But all was not was it seemed, not as Team Nikita's ruse was revealed and we witnessed just how dark the title character would get in order to beat Amanda at her own evil game.

Meaning what, exactly? How did this enjoyable drama go out? Was it satisfactory? Shocking? Appropriate? See for yourself when you watch Nikita online right now:

With 12 MonkeysSeason 1 launching Friday, I thought it would be fun to list 12 movies that became TV shows.

Though it seems like every new television series these days is making the jump from the big screen to the small, it's not a new trend. M*A*S*H* was a 1970's film which later ran for 11 seasons on CBS. Did you know Clueless, Private Benjamin and Ferris Bueller's Day Off also spawned TV shows?

For every movie turned TV series that bombs, I'm lookin' at you Young Indiana Jones Chronicles, there are several like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Highlander and Stargate that run for many years.

Flip through the slideshow and check out 12 (in honor of 12 Monkeys) series that originated as feature films.

As with fashion or boy bands these trends are cyclical, but you've got to admit today's showrunners sure are delivering some top notch television. Let's hope this new golden age of TV continues for at least another decade.

So... which TV show based on a movie has been your favorite so far?

12 Monkeys premieres this Friday, January 16 at 9/8c on Syfy. Make sure to follow our 12 Monkeys Twitter account.

1. Olivia Pope - Scandal

Olivia
It's hard to blame Olivia for leaving it all behind to hide out on an island with Jake. Who wouldn't want to trade in their home and job for the sun and sand, especially when there are regular deliveries of wine?

2. Kate Beckett - Castle

Beckett
When Castle and Beckett head to Los Angeles for a case, Kate uses her power of seduction and a sexy one-piece to get her man, not to mention her partner's attention.

3. Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams - Hawaii Five-O

Hawaii 5 0
The men (and woman) of Hawaii Five-0 are always attractive, but watching Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams surfing on the Hawaii shore will make you long for summer, sun, and some sexy, sexy gentlemen!

4. The Cast of Baywatch

The cast of baywatch
While lifeguarding has always been a hot profession, the slow motion shots and sexy, impractical swimsuits launched a million fantasies and turned stars Pamela Anderson and Yasmine Bleeth into bonafide sex symbols.

5. Nikita Mears - Nikita

Nikita mears
Nikita knows how to use her sexiness to her advantage when it comes to taking down her enemy. That bathing suit certainly doesn't seem to have any effect on her kick ass fighting skills!

6. Derek Morgan and Elle Greenaway - Criminal Minds

The members of the Behavior Analysis Unit don't get much time for R&R, but when those rare times occur, they relax in style! Unfortunately for Derek and Elle, this vacation was cut short by a case, but at least they managed to squeeze some sun in first!

Truly the best kind of female character is the one who is gorgeous, sexy, smart... and could probably kill you with her pinky finger.

There are so many femme fatale characters on TV these days, it was hard to narrow it down to just 19! We combed through all of the best and the worst (and the craziest) kickass women on TV, and we finally came up with a list of girls that you would probably want to avoid if they weren't so amazing and alluring.

Check out 19 of TV's greatest femme fatales, and be sure to add any we missed in comments below!

1. Abaddon (Supernatural)

Abaddon supernatural
This fiery redhead is practically the devil incarnate. Okay, technically she's just a demon, but she's given those Winchester boys just as much trouble as Lucifer ever did! The worst part? You can't even exorcise her when she gets particularly nasty.

2. Rebekah Mikaelson (The Originals)

Rebekah mikaelson the originals
Rebekah's wiles never seem to find her love, but they do come in handy whenever she needs to seduce whoever is unfortunate enough to become her next meal. Just don't get too handsy, or you'll end up on the floor like this guy.

3. Katherine Pierce (The Vampire Diaries)

Katherine pierce the vampire diaries
If you've never seen Katherine Pierce in action, then boy, are you missing out. She's a vampire with a vendetta, and most of the time, she's about ten steps ahead of you in the plotting and mayhem process. Watch out for that sexy smile, it comes with fangs!

4. Nikita (Nikita)

Nikita nikita
Being trained by a super secret government organization as an assassin and a seductress pretty much gives Nikita the edge in Femme Fatale category. Lucky for you, she's got a heart of gold – most of the time.

5. Sydney Bristow (Alias)

Sydney bristow alias
If you don't think Sydney Bristow is one of the sexiest women in the world, I urge you to take a look at this gif and reconsider. Then, know that about 10 seconds after putting on this sexy show, she strangles the misogynistic pig in front of her and complains about about the uncomfortable nature of lingerie.

6. Sara Lance (Arrow)

Sara lance arrow
Another assassin, trained by considerably scarier people than the government. Sara's famous line, "No woman should ever suffer at the hands of men," pretty much wraps up exactly why she's on this list. And, of course, her ability to seduce and kick butt in the same scene.

11 Badass Ladies Who Deserve More Than They Got

$

There are some TV characters who have gone through hell and back. Some of those have literally. (Sara Lance, anyone?)

Even after so much development has been done and the characters grow so much, unknown forces prevent those characters from ever achieving the results they could.

Some achieve their greatness, but don't live the life they deserve after. They lost so much in the battle.

These characters spend so much time working through a problem, or tragedy, only to be pushed to the sideline, or the character lived such a terrible life that they were never able to recover and live a happier life.

We've compiled a gallery of badass TV ladies that deserved better lives than they were granted.

1. Laurel Lance - Arrow

Hugging the wall arrow s4e14
Laurel Lance (Katie Cassidy) has led a troubled life, also. When her sister "died" while cheating with her boyfriend, her family fell apart as her father fell into alcoholism and her mother divorced him. Then, Oliver returned, without her sister. The anger she wasn't allowed to feel over the grief of losing them prevailed, especially when Sara returned home. Her sister had been alive and she was the reason their family had fallen apart. If they had known, things could have been different. As soon as Sara was alive, she was dead again. Murdered. Laurel had an anger inside of her only managed by becoming the Black Canary. Her journey was rough. Oliver gave her no support. Instead, he told her to stop and refused to train her to join him in the field. With rumors of her death circulating after speculation online, it would be a shame to see so much character growth even more underutilized than it is now.

2. Sara Lance - DC's Legends of Tomorrow

Eye catching dcs legends of tomorrow s1e8
Sara Lance (Caity Lotz) had a miserable time on Arrow. After being stranded on Lian Yu with Oliver Queen, Sara was forced to join the League of Assassins to survive. 5 years later and her return to Starling City is hardly welcomed by her older sister, Laurel, Oliver's girlfriend that Sara was sleeping with when the Queen's Gambit went down. Before they can completely reconnect, Sara goes back to the League after they helped stop Slade from destroying the city, and in a moment, she was dead. Malcolm Merlyn brainwashed his daughter to murder Sara to set Oliver down a path with the League. She was murdered as nothing but a plot device for both Oliver and Laurel, as she started her journey as the Black Canary. Once resurrected, Sara lost her soul, her body a feral creature. Now, soul returned, on DC's Legends of Tomorrow, she is searching for a purpose and redemption, still dealing with the aftermath of her death.

3. Spencer Hastings - Pretty Little Liars

Youre doing what pretty little liars s6e12
Spencer Hastings (Troian Bellisario) has always endured the hardest torment from the liars' infamous stalkers. She's been framed and accused of murder, multiple times, drove crazy and locked away in an institution and her life has been hectic, regardless. Her family has always treated her as the pariah: never approving of her choices, not approving of her first best friend, Alison, and comparing all of her achievements to her sister's. Five years later and Spencer still gets the short end of the stick. Her current boyfriend, Caleb, cheated on her with his ex, and her best friend, Hanna. While this -A has left her alone, Mona and Charlotte attacked her with everything they had, seeing her as the only real competition of the four liars.

4. Amanda Clarke/Emily Thorne - Revenge

Help please revenge s4e22
Amanda Clarke (Emily VanCamp), also known as Emily Thorne, had her childhood ruined by the Graysons. Her father framed for terrorism and she was left to rot in the foster care system. Years later, she did what she had to do: she plotted and enacted her revenge against the people who framed her father. She lost many people during the years: Fauxmanda, the person whom she called her sister, Daniel Grayson, the man she used as part of her plan but developed real feelings for, and Aiden Mathis, the only person who understood her revenge. In a strange plot twist, her father returned, alive and free, but his return was shadowed by Aiden's death. After Amanda partially got her revenge, Victoria fought back, leading to an epic showdown, where Victoria was killed. Soon after, her father died of cancer. She lost so many people, as did the people she loved and trusted, but her father's death was cruel. She was without him her whole life and hardly a year after he returned, he was dead, again.

5. Emma Becker - The Lying Game

The lying game premiere pic
Emma Becker (Alexandra Chando) fought so hard to have a family. After growing up in foster care, she was reunited with her twin sister, Sutton (Chando), who was adopted by a wealthy family. After Sutton convinces her to pretend to be her for a few days, Emma is sucked into a life of lies. Through that she grows close to Sutton's boyfriend, Ethan, who becomes her boyfriend, but still has feelings for Sutton. The Lying Game was cancelled too soon after too much murder before we saw Emma get the family she deserved: the family she always craved.

6. Nikita Mears - Nikita

Maggie q for nikita
Another show cancelled too soon, Nikita Mears (Maggie Q) was perhaps the worst off of all characters. Recruited by a secret government agency and forced to kill, Nikita escaped and vowed to take down Division. She fought with Alex, who later turned on her for a short time, and took down Percy, the man who ran Division. Forced by the government again to take over Division, they began to hunt agents who did not come in after an order by the President. But Amanda, another head of Division, and her grudge against Nikita remained, leading to the President being assassinated and Nikita being framed. The show had to wrap up its mission in six episodes, where Nikita took to drastic measures to clear her name, only to lose more and more loved ones along the way. In the end, her and Michael, her boyfriend, were able to settle down, but they couldn't. Who could sit on a beach, anyways?

Gotham: Nikita Actor Shane West Cast as Villain

Gotham's final season will have a mystery villain, and the person playing him is a fan-favorite from another genre series.

Nikita star, Shane West, has been added to the cast of the Fox drama's final season, according to Deadline.

The character he will play is Eduardo Dorrance, a man from Jim Gordon's past. They served at the same time in the Army.

Shane West Attends Film Festival

While Dorrance's return to Gotham is a shocker, he arrives with an offer for Gordon to help bring the city back from the brink of destruction.

However, it soon becomes apparent to Gordon that “Dorrance’s true intentions in Gotham are much darker and more evil than he could have believed.”

Related: Gotham Gets Truncated Final Season

Sounds ominous, and fascinating all that same time, right?

The Batman prequel looks set to be putting its own spin on this character. In the comics, there was a villain named Edmund Dorrance.

Shane West Attends NY Comic-Con

That character was King Snake and was the father of Bane, so we think it's fair to say the series is going to be going all meta on us during the final episodes.

Gotham was renewed for a final season back in May after the on-air ratings for Gotham Season 4 continued to trend downwards.

Related: Gotham Renewed for Fifth and Final Season

Camren Bicondova later revealed to fans via an Instagram live that just ten episodes will be produced, meaning that Gotham will conclude with 98 episodes.

What's more, the actress revealed that Fox would not be airing the series before January, so it means there's a wait in store for fans.

Shane West Atends Ted Baker Event

Gotham Season 4 averaged 2.6 million viewers and a 0.8 rating among adults 18-49. These figures mark declines of almost 30 percent year-to-year.

The show remains a solid option with DVR viewing factored in, but the truncated episode order could be attributed to the lack of space on Fox's schedule.

The network is pressing on with Thursday Night Football this fall, and that means some shows are being delayed until later in the season.

Shane West Attends Event

In fact, the network as a whole looks to be leaning towards more live sports entertainment what with Smackdown eating up the network's Friday night line-up come fall 2019.

Television's Hottest Sex Scenes That We'll Never Forget

Relationships on television shows offer a lot to their fans, and it isn't like their sex scenes are the main reason we love them, but they are still really important.

A sex scene will make or break a couple if executed a certain way. Because it is all about the chemistry between a couple, and if they have a sex scene, and they don't show any of that energy, then they don't stay on our minds for too long.

Luckily, there is now this list that compiles some of the hottest sex scenes that we will never be able to forget.

Oliver and Felicity (Arrow)

Oliver and Felicity Together - Arrow

With the wonderful news that Emily Bett Rickards is coming back for Arrow's final episode, it feels fitting to travel back to a time when this scene hit our screens.

There was so much buildup between Oliver and Felicity that, of course, they also delivered when it came to their sex scenes.

The recent season of Arrow is amazing but it is still hard sometimes to deal with the loss of this relationship.

21 Things We Learned From The Vampire Diaries Series Premiere

Klaus and Caroline (The Vampire Diaries)

Klaus and Caroline - The Vampire Diaries

Klaus and Caroline had quite a build-up that deserved to amount to more than just a sex scene before he had to leave for his spinoff show.

Regardless of that small fact, these two had a sex scene that is both memorable and visually pleasing.

Sometimes you just want to see your favorites share a hot moment in the woods on The Vampire Diaries

The 100: Raven and Zeke's Fast Burn Success Story

Raven and Zeke (The 100)

Raven and Zeke Spending Time Together - The 100

The romance between Raven and Zeke may have been short-lived, but The 100 is still on The CW which means fans didn't miss out.

The context behind the scene may have felt rush because by the end of The 100 Season 6 Episode 1 Zeke would end up getting killed off, but that didn't affect the way it translated on screen.

This sweet and soft moment highlighted why Raven and Zeke worked so well, while also solidifying why fans were so quick to fall in love with this couple.

The 100 may not be about romance, but sometimes they get it right, however momentary.

Wesley and Turbo (Daybreak)

Turbo and Wesley

Allow me to introduce you to Daybreak and to this lovable relationship that can't be stopped. Even by the end of the world.

Wesley and Turbo have a lot to work on in terms of their inner peace and the way they relate to others, but when they are together, it just makes sense.

They are (hopefully) on their way to a more healthy bond where there is communication and understanding.

The highlight of their relationship though is the way that Ira Madison III managed to create their love story in such a refreshing and yet new way when it comes to LGBTQIA+ representation.

Daybreak Review: A Unique Take On Coming Of Age Stories

Kat and Adena (The Bold Type)

Kat and Adena - The Bold Type

Kat and Adena have a remarkable relationship that offers valuable representation on screen with each new season.

Their first time though was the validating and incredible example of a queer story done right.

It was a loving scene that allowed Kat to be vulnerable and for Adena to push for more open communication between them.

The result became a sex scene that was as wonderful as it was valuable, with it still leaving a mark on many fans who start The Bold Type

Alison and Emily (Pretty Little Liars)

Alison and Emily Together - Pretty Little Liars

Another long-awaited and wholesome scene full of love was shared between Alison and Emily.

Waiting for them to even possibly get together was a long and messy road, but when Alison showed that she cared for Emily just as much, it was over for all of us.

These two deserved so much better, and even though we know they will get back together, sometimes you want to take a walk down memory lane.

19 Popular 'Ships We Just Don't Get

Callie and Gael (Good Trouble)

Callie and Gael Together - Good Trouble

Not all hot sex scenes have to be between a couple that stays together, although Good Trouble still has plenty of time to circle back around to these two.

There can be points made about why we want to see Callie and Gael together and about why we don't, but a scene like this go under the pro section of that list.

Something about an aesthetically pleasing sex scene makes it harder to let go of that hope for more.

Nikita and Michael (Nikita)

Nikita and Michael

If we're talking about underappreciated scenes, this one takes the cake for sure.

The relationship between Nikita and Michael was a highlight of the show, even if we didn't get to see as much of it as we deserved.

And scenes like this just solidified that, making it one of the hottest sex scenes to date.

19 TV Characters With Attention Grabbing Tattoos

Naomi Nagata and James Holden (The Expanse)

Naomi and James - The Expanse

Look at them and tell me they weren't your first thought for this list.

These two scream sexual tension whenever they are in the same room, and they have to have set some record for most epic sex scenes.

The most important thing in a quality sex scene is chemistry, and these two have so much of it.

It really isn't fair because many relationships can't compare to this. The Expanse just knows how to appeal to all of us.

Claire and Jamie (Outlander)

Claire and Jamie Together - Outlander

Outlander is beloved for many reasons, with the sex scenes between their lead duo as one of the biggest ones.

Claire and Jamie represent what many fans love most in their fictional relationships, a combination of a pair being so soft but also so good looking at the same time.

That translates into some memorable sex scenes, and honestly, there were too many to choose from but their wedding night was something exceptional.

23 Female TV Characters That Have Perfected The Look™

Logan and Veronica (Veronica Mars)

Veronica and Logan Together - Veronica Mars

This one is a sore spot for many of us, with the revival changing things in ways that neither Veronica nor Logan deserved.

Before it got to that point, though, and even after it, the most important part about thee two is their legacy.

No matter how their story ended, the way that it got created and what fans took from it is what matters.

Part of that includes scenes like this, and we can pretend this is the last scene of the new season of Veronica Mars

19 Slowburn TV Ships That Destroyed The Moonlighting Curse

Cheryl and Toni (Riverdale)

Cheryl and Toni Together - Riverdale

It would be great if Cheryl and Toni could have just a week where they don't have any Riverdale related plots to distract them.

But even with the minimal screentime that they sometimes share, they also manage to top it for all of us. Pun intended.

This sex scene was a long time coming, and at least these two delivered above and beyond.

Spike and Buffy (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Spike and Buffy Together - Buffy the Vampire Slayer

This is a tough one, mostly because of the not so positive history that comes with this couple and the possibilities in general.

Spike isn't the only person who Buffy had off the charts chemistry with it is almost impossible not to mention the Angel like elephant in the room.

But still, there is something about Spike and Buffy at their best that makes them fit this list perfectly.

If only that were all that we could remember about them then they really could be the peak couple.

23 Confessions of Love That Made Us Jealous

Eliott and Lucas (Skam France)

Skam

Does anything really need to be said?

This gif alone speaks volumes about how epic a sex scene can be if we let a couple in it shine.

It is an incomplete example if Eliott and Lucas don't get added here as well, their energy together is magnetic and chances are many of you didn't know about it.

Alex and Michael (Roswell, New Mexico)

Michael and Alex Together - Roswell, New Mexico

Fans have fallen in love with Alex and Michael's love for a lot of reasons, but most of it can just be explained with the word soft.

Their love for one another is so sweet and kind; it translates into all scenes that they share on Roswell, New Mexico.

That includes their sex scenes that are so memorable because of how much emotion is behind each one.

You can feel the love and the longing between Alex and Michael, so it would be unfair to deprive others of this discovery.

13 TV Characters Who Should Take a Vow of Silence

Laura and Mad Sweeney (American Gods)

Laura and Mad Sweeney - American Gods

This is another one that is hard to explain.

It isn't like we actually ship these two together all that much, and yet there is something about this sex scene that felt like it belonged in this conversation.

How can you not talk about this?

Maybe the lighting or the cinematography is to blame but either way here we are with American Gods.

Wade and Zoe (Hart of Dixie)

Wade and Zoe Together - Hart of Dixie

Talking about underappreciated shows means mentioning Hart of Dixie and the way some people are still discovering it.

Wade and Zoe have to be a big part of that; their banter and their love and their messiness feel so real even years after the show ended.

But that isn't why we are all here, we are here to discuss the sex scene that closed out the first season of the show.

How do you not root for a couple that is that level of epic? The answer is you don't.

17 TV Friendships That Turned Romantic Over Time

Jane and Rafael (Jane the Virgin)

Jane and Rafael Together - Jane the Virgin

An adorable sex scene is hard to explain, yet Jane and Rafael are the best examples of it.

Their relationship was a long time coming, so their sex scenes had to live up to the hype on Jane the Virgin.

Jane and Rafael proved that not only can you do it, at the time same time you can have scenes that exceed those expectations.

If there is a happy ending to look forward to for our other ships, Jane and Rafael's has to be the inspiration.

Sam and Grizz (The Society)

Sam and Grizz Together

It is quite fascinating how many apocalypse shows and their couples made their way onto this list.

The apocalypse comes with the promise of epic sex scenes for us to look forward to, right?

Sam and Grizz won us over before we even knew the potential that they had. It has to be only the beginning of their journey on The Society, but we already know they are worthy of making it onto this list.

There is this level of understanding and intimacy that proves how much that can add to a scene to make it stand out. Now can the show return this cute and innocent love into our lives?

The Cluster (Sense8)

Sense8 Together

This all wouldn't be complete without Sense8, a show that used its Netflix standing to go in on every sex scene.

The twist on it though is that every scene gets treated like literal artwork, it is always so chaotic and intense and visually fascinating.

It is also just really unforgettable, and a great way to end off the list.

With 12 Monkeys Season 1 launching Friday, I thought it would be fun to list 12 movies that became TV shows.

Lethal Weapon Pilot a Go at Fox with Damon Wayans, Sr. to Star

As with fashion or boy bands these trends are cyclical, but you've got to admit today's showrunners sure are delivering some top notch television. Let's hope this new golden age of TV continues for at least another decade.

So… which TV show based on a movie has been your favorite so far?

12 Monkeys premieres this Friday, January 16 at 9/8c on Syfy. Make sure to follow our 12 Monkeys Twitter account.

11 Badass Ladies That Deserved Better

There are some TV characters who have gone through hell and back. Some of those have literally. (Sara Lance, anyone?)

Even after so much development has been done and the characters grow so much, unknown forces prevent those characters from ever achieving the results they could.

Some achieve their greatness, but don’t live the life they deserve after. They lost so much in the battle.

These characters spend so much time working through a problem, or tragedy, only to be pushed to the sideline, or the character lived such a terrible life that they were never able to recover and live a happier life.

We’ve compiled a gallery of badass TV ladies that deserved better lives than they were granted.
